Shammy Baby, I really love the sound of the Lakes and will go sometime. I just can't make it this weekend as I am Completing my house move this Friday. I'll be knee high in boxes and packing but luckily I have 2 strapping lads to help me...think I'll suffer and manage LOL

No convoys planned Pat - but at the moment it's touch and go as to whether we can go ahead as the forecast doesn't look promising .

I'm going to contact FFP tomorrow and/or Friday and find out the state of the grass as heavy rain is predicted over the next few days - so far they've said heavy rain on Saturday too.

So please keep 'em peeled on the front page for event updates.

However, after speaking with the chaps down at FFP earlier I have no option but to cancel the event I'm afraid due to the weather. They told me they are expecting rain every day until at least Monday with some heavy bursts at times. Tonight they are expecting some heavy rain too.

I will update the front page and look forward to meeting everyone again at some point .
