United-Kingdom Mini heritage run – 16th august 2009

MINI HERITAGE RUN – 16TH AUGUST 2009

On Sunday 16 August 2009 we will celebrate the MINI with a Heritage Run from MINI Plant Oxford to the BMW Festival held at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon.

I would to invite all MINI2 members to join us the MINI Register on this run.

The Heritage Run will assemble at the MINI Plant Oxford, from approximately 08.30am with, the first vehicles leaving at 09.30am.
The procession is due to arrive at the BMW Festival held at the Heritage Motor Centre at 11.00am.
To Enter the Heritage Run please complete the Heritage Run Application Form, (including a colour photograph of the car), the entry fee for the Heritage Run will be £25 per vehicle, payable on acceptance, which will include entry to the show, for the driver and one passenger. The entry fee will also include a rally plaque for the vehicle and a photograph during the run.

Additional Passengers in Heritage Run vehicles can book entry tickets online at Heritage Motor Centre
Application forms for the Heritage Run need to be returned to the Heritage Motor Centre by the 20 July 2009, and we expect to inform the successful applicants in the last week of July.
Ticket enquiries are available by phoning the BMW Car Club on 01225 709 009 and leaving your name and address.

Our thanks to the MINI Plant Oxford for providing a marshalling area for the start of the Heritage Run.

Quick Reminder

Anyone wishing to join in the 'Heritage Run' your application must be in by Monday 20th July, see the application forms on the first posting.

Anyone not wishing to join the run but would like to attend the BMW/MINI Festival being held by the BMW Car Club(GB) & MINI Register at 'The Heritage Motor Centre' Gaydon must have a pre-booked ticket to enter the dedicated MINI Parking area.

Ticket for the festival only can be purchased by calling BMWCC head office 01225 709 009

Advance booking £9.00 per person (£11.00 on the day) or £7.00 for block bookings of 10 or more, ticket price includes entry to the museum.

Take your MINI on the Aston Martin Test Track: £12.50 (driver) & £5.00 (passenger)

MINI traders if you would like to join us at 'The BMW/MINI Festival' at Gaydon on 16th August please contact BMW Car Club(GB) head office 01225 709 009.

May I ask what provisions are there for overnight accommadation?

There are still places available on this run & is being supported by 'Plant Oxford' the head of Plant Oxford will be flagging off the start of the run.

You can still join in if you would like to, download the application form & post to the Heritage Centre ASAP, you can also email myself or the Heritage Centre.
