Falkirk Cruise (aug)

hey! this is really just aimed at all scottish users as it would be a bit of a treck for anyone down south

i stay in falkirk and there is a massive cruise every month (first thursday of the month) which is usually featured on F&M, Tarmag, etc etc, and i was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up and going up in a .. emm .. convoy of mini's to show them off & have a chat etc would be cool seeing a big row of minis :P .. if you want to leave a comment here or add me via msn scottritchie.1@live.co.uk

hey! wont be much of a convoy with the 2 of us but its a start :P

emm ... prob start about 7pm but show up earlier as the retail park is usually full by about 8 if you want a decent space!

if you have sat nav use this post code FK1 1LW that will take you to halfords in the retail should be good depending on the weather! not the last one but the one before my average speed driving through must have been about 1-2mph just cos the amount of cars there!

Plus sent newminiscotland an email about the details of the cruise so see if they can get anyone interested

ha ha true..well i know a few other folk with minis that might be interested..will give them a bell and ask them..and arrange it for the next one..which i'm guessing is next week is that right??

yeah got my trusty wee tom tom..so should find it no bother!!

nice one! the next FC will be 6th Aug (i think thats the first thursday of august ) ill try and get a few people and see if they're game for coming! ill keep it posted!

I'm staying just north of Glasgow city at the moment, finishing a Neuroscience Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow. Quite possibly, my first 'real' job will take me over the Atlantic to the United States, so likely won't be here for much of 2010.

Thanks for the invite, but my MINI might be very out of place on a slow cruise though... it doesn't get washed very much and all my modifications have been made with stability and control through the twisties in mind rather than flair. Posing with it or going 2mph through town doesn't really sound like my sort of thing - sorry guys.
