Just need to get the timing right with the tides or you wont get over.
Been by twice this year on days out and missed the tide being out, some idiot made up for it though by thinking he could get through, he did for 100yds or so until the car said I've had enough.....hehehe.
If we do get across make sure there is plenty of time to get back or we're spending 6hrs or more with those strange village types on the island...........

Remember the film 'American Werewolf in London' and the scene in 'The slaughtered Lamb'....................yikes!!

Indeed. Im still on the case of planning a recce, need to get together with villa mini and see if we can come up with a potential route.

Yeah, am still interested in this!! Would be good to know when and where tho, as the roads to the north of Newcastle look like a blast!! Not had any real opportunity to have a decent drive since have been up here; and, now, am not too sure how long I will actually be living in the NE?!
