MINI2

Hello all. I am a MINI Cooper 'S' owner and have owned the car for about 4 months. It is my 2nd MINI, i owned a MINI Cooper in early 2001, then had a few years driving other cars until i came back to MINI's with my present 'S'. I like to use this site for posting some useful and some not so useful ramblings etc etc etc.....

I was wondering if there are any groups of MINI owners who meet up regularly in the Chester or Wirral area? I used to be a member of a Classic Mini club many years ago when i had an original 'Checkmate' Mini. I enjoyed going to shows and other activities like camping etc.

Maybe if there is no group in this area, we could start one. Something simple and fun where we can meet up, swop stories, exchange advise and so on. If anyone knows of any clubs or wants to start one then please feel free to add to this thread. Hope to hear from lots of people soon.

We try and meet up on a monthly basis, but things have gone a bit quiet of late, as some have moved on to other things.......

I'm in the process of organising a Winter Run over Bala way, although I'm being distracted by decorating & a conservatory being built at home.

If things don't work out, then the Annual Llandudno Run will be a great start to 2006........see you on the "other side".....
