Oxford Factory Tour - February 6th - thanks for coming

The Doncaster Mini Register has a factory tour booked on Monday February 6th 2006. It is the afternoon tour, and we have the full 30 places booked.
We have some places left on this tour, so if you would like to have a tour round the factory but have never got round to it, this could be your chance.

The only costs is the £ 3.00 to be paid on arrival at the factory.

You can be from anywhere, you could meet us on route somewhere, or at the factory itself. Details available on request. We will be having a pub lunch prior to the tour, but this optional for the individual.

Let me know here if you want to go, and you can bring a guest. Spaces limited, so let me know as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

I have also had the confirmation letter from BMW and the tour price is £ 7.00 per person, compared to the £ 3.00 we paid last time we did the tour.

Payment methods have also changed, cash is no longer available. I will pay be card, and those attending the tour will pay me on the day.

Timings for the above event.

9.00 am - Meet new B & Q Doncaster Lakeside (junction 3 M18) ready to leave

9.15 - Woodhall services - M1 - meet point

9.45 - Junction 25 M1 - meet point

12.00 - arrive Oxford - lunch stop

1.45 - Tour starts


Please be at your meet point ready to leave at the designated time.

Please be ready to pay the admin fee at your meet point, and I will block pay for the tour.

The car park for the tour is through Gate 7 of the plant.
Directions to the pub for lunch, leave gate 7, back to main road, and turn right. Pub is about half a mile on left side. If you get to a roundabout you have gone too far, I can't remember the name of it. We then have to go round the roundabout back to the factory.

Not sure if you guys can help me at all, but my wife and I will be in the UK for about a week from around 19-26 May and would love to get in for a tour. I have just emailed the relevant email address listed in the FAQs on MINI2, but any advice you can give on getting us in to a tour would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all those who came today, it was a great experience once again. The tour has been affected a little by the transition work going on with expansion to that factory etc, but still a worthwhile visit.

Yep great day - thanks for organising so well Jason. Sorry we left you on the way home but we ended up in the faster lane!! Nice to meet new faces too.
