Just noticed this is on this Weekend, Anyone from here going ??
I Went to it the last 2 years & I think MINI2 had a stand ... anything planned for this year ??
Sorry my bad , there is a MINI2 stand but its only 3 cars due to lack of space. Been put together at the last minute with the spaces already being filled. Not posted up as been busy with work and new car purchase.
I went last year and thought it was a very poor show if you are into new Mini's. The venue is far too small for the amount of interest the show generates. They could easily fill a space double the size for new Mini's, and classic's for that matter.
I also felt that you can do the show in two hours and then what is there to do for the rest of the day. With a bigger venue they could make more space for things to do, for the kids etc.
That was why I didn't go this year, and I will stick to the larger outdoor shows as usual.
There are some great cars there though guys. There was a good showing last year too. There could just be more of them.
Here`s a few of the heavily modded Mini`s .
The Halo style Side light Modules were being shown by Cool New who were taking pre-orders on them. {And they looked very effective & Unique}
The DVD showcase MINI was on Lohens stand & what a fantastic soundsystem that had, with its Explosions & Breaking Glass filling the Hall & making many Duck
A couple of Kit car chassis ready for mini bits..
I think the yellow one was called the FREESTYLE & accepts a rear mounted Rover mini engine .
The other had what seemed to be a rear mounted Honda engine & accepted a full mini style body kit, although I`d prefer it as it is with that beautifully exposed spaceframe chassis
