Nottingham/midlands pub meet 5th march 06......

From the interest in the Nottingham thread about having a meet in Nottingham I have decided its a good idea to start a new thread about it and so we can list the attendees! Now the day hasnt been organised as such but as its abit last minute but there will be a nice pub selected and a good little trip round some roads in the surrounding area. Unless in the mean time someone wants to go for a blast 1 day prior and do a little plan recce for a run?

I aim to organise a god run this year but with this being last minute Ill try my best in making it as fun as possible with the help of others!

could do with billy lad helping out as his driving style can somwhat match that of mine when he wants to all being well that his rear end dosent scrape that is

Meet place sytner Nottingham, The road outside could easily accomodate the amount of people that will probably attend! I dont think it would be wise to park in the car park as it is busy most of the time and it wouldnt be fare on those customers wanting to park and go into the showroom.

I am currently in very cold and windy palma nova so i will pdate the thread soon as i get back when ive come up with a location for the pub meet/dinner if people want to eat and come up with some of the roads we could have a bit of a hoot on

Names that have shown interest and are confirmed will be listed here so put your name down if your interested asap so we can gauge an idea of numbers. this is open to anyone and obviously not just nottingham folk. be good to get a few from the surrounding areas as nottingham sytner is pretty easy to get to anyway.

Good to see a date and time set for this one, should be a good meet. I am only round the corner from Sytners either at uni or home but I haven't got a car at the moment. My parent's refused to let me waste money on extra insurance to park outside in Lenton (probably a sensible idea) so I don't have any till the end of March when I can get at the car back home where there is a garage and kinder postcode for the insurers!
I would like to get along to the recce for this event depending on when it is, I have pmed you about that Chilli and hope to see a good turnout at the event!

Could head out towards and beyond Donington, down to Junction 24 by the services I think. There are a few nice roads out that way that we were out on last week

ill speak to billy soon as i get back and see what he says, he lives close to me so ill see what hes up for and then see iof anyone is up for coming along! a recce at night might be a good one in the dark

Yep we did those roads at night late last week. You can't tell which way some of those corners go - brilliant

Hey - absolutley gutted but I won't be able to make the meet! Something last minute popped up and I cannot get out of it! Hope there will be another meet soon!
