Ireland The Irish Job!! 23rd -26th February 2007 - sign up now!

Right here we go!! Take 2!!

I'm just back from the Irish Job, and it went so well, that we are going to do it again next year! (For this years run see here). You have more than 1 year to organise finances and time off work so NO excuses !

The run will be in a similar format to this years, travelling over on the Friday, and heading back on the Monday or Tuesday. Obviously those already in Ireland need not travel over!

All details will be in this first post!

Oooh, Banter thread is here

Saturday will be the longer run, with a trip round scenic Lough Neagh (many thanks to Step_7 for the excellent route notes), with Sunday probably a run to somewhere for a pub lunch so that those travelling back can get away.

***Lunch on Saturday will be a bring-your-own affair at one of the planned stops, so please make sure you have some grub with you!***

Base will be the Radisson in Belfast as it's handy and has a big car park, though there will be a slightly later meeting point at the Lough Shore park (at the Antrim Forum) for the Saturday run for those who won't come through Belfast.

Run Details....

Start times are as follows, people

SATURDAY:
From the Radisson in Belfast at 10am
From Antrim's Lough Shore Car Park 10.45am (ish)

SUNDAY:
From the Raddison at 11am. Lunch will be in the Tidy Doffer, probably arriving there about 12.45 or so

For anyone who's free, Nicky, Derek and I will be heading out for some food and a few drinks on Friday night, you're more than welcome to join us!

I'll keep you all posted, don't worry

Up to date list of attendees:

Nicky & Derek
nylo
JR
Aiden & Denise
Carolyn
Lesley
Peter
Peter's dad
Ian
Alan
Niall (Step)
JP
Lisa

Price is per room, per night.

Single occupancy: £60 room only, £70 B&B
Double occ: £60 room only, £80 B&B

I had thought of Bourbon for a bite to eat on Saturday night for those who are interested, as it's got plenty of room, and is fairly central so we can go on for a drink somewhere else, what does everyone think of that?

Can you confirm how many you'd like me to book for too, as this will probably need to be booked sooner rather than later

Confirmations please to Nylo ASAP....

Stranraer is a hell of a long drive! and then if you use the other option you got to think about the drive from Dublin to Belfast!

Anyway whats wrong with 8 hours on a boat with me and Jon oh and Mark! Mwahahaha!

When I nod my head...... hit it!
