Another Scottish Run ??

Anybody interested in another Scottish Run in August sometime?? The last one was such a good laugh, maybe we should try it again?
I think we discussed the East coast as being a possible venue for our next meet.......anyone interested???

Anyone any ideas re the next route????? Do not know much about the east coast way at all, but would appreciate any input re a route. Only reason I suggested east coast was that the last run was on the west coast, so a change of scenery is not a bad thing!!!!!!!!
I am up for anything really.......look forward to seeing what everyone thinks. I think I have recruited a few other mini drivers.....so hopefully there will be a good turnout this time !!!!

Any weekend other than the 17/18 Aug would suite.
As for a route, how about Dunde to Braemar then down Deeside? Great twisty roads with fast sections (caravan permitting).

Hi Annette, sorry but ive been on my holibags till 2day!!

We could go blairgowrie, over glen shee, lecht, toddle round glenfiddach (sp??) i know a hotellier at the distillery, so maybe lunch? then we arein the hands of Zoooom for his local knowledge.

Also .....a big hello to "doctorevil"....!!!! Glad to see you will hopefully join us this time round!!
I hope to have a new MINI by then.....my latest let me down for the 4th time (leaking windscreen again),so today I took it back to John Clarks, and told the manager that I didn't want it anymore !!! I have asked for an exchange.....same car, same model, same extras,but without the water leaks. I am now running around in a nice little black number, but to have a replacement soon !!
Hope you had a good holiday Gerry, and look forward to hearing of your route ideas, though your suggestion so far seems not too bad !!

OK so what is the best dates for people

The route is being sorted as we speak and Brian should have a MINI very soon (brian that was with me last time)

He would have had a car by now but he was promised first shout at TC's MINI when he gets his 's' but got a text to say he was selling it to someone else after stringing him along for a few months

So if you have a cooper for sale let me know

I can't do 23/24th August either but any other date in August would suit.
I have just heard that I am getting a new MINI from BMW UK in September !!!! They are recalling the one I have at the moment......definately a factory fault. I thought I would need to pay some extra seeing as my original MINI is 6 months old, but as a gesture of goodwill, I am getting it with no extra charge !!! I am one very happy happy MINI driver !!!!!!!
Looking forward to the next run then.....just need to sort out the route
