Right folks... this run is confirmed and will go ahead on the 14th of May:

The Date: SUNDAY MAY 14TH

The Start Point: Donington Park Services M1 - Junction 24A - 10:30am

The Plan for the day: A nice drive approx 50-75 miles around the Nottingham/Birmingham area... the route is almost finished but we won't be handing out confirmed pace notes till the day of the event.

Hmm fair enough.... this is only a small meet though so maybe keeping the same dates won't be a massive issue.

Is anyone out there???
PLEASE if you registered interest can you say YES or NO as to whether you will be able to make the event or not??
If we don't get a few more names then the event will have to be cancelled.

Good to see some positive responses... I was getting worried for a while. Even if it is only 4 or 5 cars, it'll be a good laugh and it'll be easier to organise with fewer vehicles

OK we had a good recce tonight. We have a route planned now including fast A roads, B roads, dual carriageways, city and countryside plus a few surprise stops along the way. This will be a very good run we hope so please put your name down if you said you were coming! Thanks

Finishing point will be back at Donington if people want to go back there. There is also a plan to stop for a meal at an airfield which is the other side of Nottingham to Donington. That depends on whether people want to stick around for a meal or head off straight after the run... either way it'll be easy enough to get back to the motorway

Yeh we can keep the finish point open to suggestion I guess. Wherever we are, it will be esy to get back to the city centre of Nottingham if people want to end there orhead back to Donnington. As long as we kep stopping off people can suggest what they want to do whenever. Godd to see a few more names!
