How long does the run take on Saturday evening?

i was beginning to panic there step.....

i got my little forms filled in and posted...... the ROD and the parklane shall both be there on saturday, with only the ROD weighing in on sunday!

Run on Saturday can take a while as the traffic clogs up really badly when you add hundreds of Minis to Portrush on a Saturday night!

OK, for those who are interested, there is a small (so far) convoy heading up on Sunday morning from Antrim. We're meeting up at the Dunsilly Roundabout * in the "Park and Ride" car park from about 10.30. Ideally leaving not too long after that but I'm a realist so nearer 11.00 seems likely. Aiming to be at the Dunluce Centre for 12.00.

Convoy will contain at least one Classic 998 (Mine) so don't expect it to be a high speed "Dash to the 'Port!"

* (Dunsilly roundabout is the one nearest to Junction One, the Ballymena turnoff from the M2)

Will be going up on Saturday evening as well but no idea what the times are going to be other than I'm aiming to be in Bushmills at 6.00 - that will no doubt be optomistic.......

Great weekend, good to meet up with you eventually. I have some video of the Saturday night run and pictures of both days which I'll post up later. Funniest bit on the video is a group of "die-hard" classic mini owners drooling all over PmP's GP - I will be using this against them next time they get me into a Mini/MINI debate!

Oh and by the way in case I didn't mention it - The GP..... What a stunning car - I was behind you on the second part of the run on Saturday so I have a fair bit of video of it including through the tunnel with the "Aliens". I need to get it edited a bit and add some music to drown out the 2 small children chattering in the background but I'll post up a wee link later this week (Hopefully)

Good weekend, Great to see some regulars, and put names to some new faces, Donna and andrew(I think), Step_7, Tracey and davy.

Tracey's British Racing Green Cooper S works had me nearly drooling at the mouth on sunday It so should have won Best Cooper S.

And was in awe of the engine bay of newminisports 250bhp demo car.


Had to laugh at the number of people asking was the GP rear wing available for all Mini's, and the number of classic owners who hadn't even a clue what the car was!

Then again you would probably find the vast majority of MINI owners wouldn't have much of a clue either.
