| Good point! YES...rain or shine, The MINIs will work. There are no Lucas electronics and they don't leak (yet?) even though they're British. Everybody, please let me know by MINI2 private mail or e-mail bethken@worldnet.att.net if you're going to do the crabcakes at Angelinas afterwards, because I need to make reservations for a group over six. So far,it looks like we have six cars going, but I need to know people who are going to eat. Cars going as of 8/4: kshapiro, paddy, aprilwhine, cooperation, L.MINI, and the Millers Ken Shapiro Electric Blue w/ Sport Package...first "S" delivered in Maryland (5/10/02) I've been everywhere but the electric chair...I've seen everything but the wind. |

| Take me off the confirmed list. When I replied before, I thought you meant the DC beltway. DC is at the far range on a day trip for me, any farther and I get a motel room. So I don't think I can make this one after all. Sorry, I had been looking forward to meeting all of you there. |

 April, Sorry that you will not be making the trip around Baltimore. On the 24th of August another group from the D.C. area will be getting together at Clydes in Alexandria, unsure of the meeting time.  I think that it might be a good idea to bring a couple sets of the "FRS" radio's so that we can keep in touch, if need be. I will be bringing one set. Can't imagine the looks we'll get as we circle 695. | Our Next Meet? Hey...I know we haven't even done #1 yet, but think about taking your MINI to "MGs On The Rocks"...a british car show that I've already registered for. It's on September 28th, and it's the 23rd annual show. These guys use a beautiful location at Rocks State Park in Harford County off of Rt. 95. If you register before 9/1 it's $10. This year, peolpe will really take to seeing the MINIs...not so sure after this year though. My MCS was a hit at Carlisle where I had her on the field, and at British Car Day in Gaithersburg. I probably won't do next years as a "field" car. Anyway, this would be a nice second trip for our group. The MGs of Baltimore club welcomes all marques and puts on a great show. | Hey guys. Count me in on this trip as well. Although the Baltimore beltway is usually about as fun as a root canal, the MINI's should make it tolerable. I'll do the email thing if we can make lunch. |
