anyone interested in a merseyside meet up?

wilo mentioned this in the was it you thread, but it's something i've been thinking about for a while. there are quite a few people on here who live in liverpool, wirral or close by enough to make this potentially a great meet up. we could meet and then go for a drive and find a pub at the end of it.

i have to plan quite far ahead i'm afraid as i have childcare to think about , so how about sunday 8th october? sorry it's so far off, but gives me time to see if there is interest and thyen plan a route as well and SAAD will be back at university as well!!

judging by the posts i have been reading recently we seem to have lots of merseyside members....

so i think a meet would be cool.

need some suggestions of places and times.

and if i can work out how to do it...i will keep a log of local members....

i posted a thread on here with the same idea yesterday! so i'm definitely up for it, but would have to be in a couple of months time if that's possible. there are lots fo good a/b roads around southport/ormskirk and up towards wigan way so i reckon a good drive circuit could be routed out too.

We have childcare thing to sort aswell...but if a few people have younguns...we can do a weekend picnic...and have some kids games...??

if its a purely adult affair we can do a pub meet..new brighton good for me...i live 5 mins away...

cottage loaf got a good car park...and on a nice stretch of road.

or start off in dannit's and Mini Stroker's territiory "cheshire oaks"....

and head off from there...maybe frodsham...delemere....

the list is endless....

but glad that we are all thinking the same way....

i am lucky enough not to have any bin lids but i suppose if it is more of a family event i can bring the bread knife along for the day :-)
