concourse @ MITP
hey guys, i asked this question in the MITP in confirmed events but nobody replied

so i will ask you guys in here!! i think it was too far down in the post!!

are any of you showing or know anyone that is showing in the concourse at MITP? does anybody know what it is like at this show? i thought i'd be brave and do it and now i'm unsure!!

Don't know anyone personally who does it, but it seems fun.

There are not normally many cars that do it, so go for it.

If nothing else you can say that you gave it a go and had a laugh doing it..
Plus I'm sure that there will be a few MINI2 peeps come over to give encouragement.

I think my hangover will say no to doing this, as it does at most events I attend

Go for it! We have done concourse in our Classic Mini Cooper Sports and its great fun. It's an excellent way of chatting and meeting people and we have made some useful contacts. I will warn you though, once you have done it you will get the bug and start getting underneath with a toothbrush!!

I know that MITP is very tough for the Classic Mini's and many of the cars are actually trailored to the event. I'm not too sure on the competition for MINI's. Hopefully we may be in our Park Lane next year!!

I refuse to do concourse anymore, I tried, came third, found myself not driving the car in the rain, when it looked like rain, when it had rained the day before, when it looked like there were flies in the air.

trust me, true concourse is for the trailor brigade. I prefer show and shine now, at least the car can be used.

Oh, and being marked down for a missing first aid kit is just taking the p!ss
