interesting idea for a run here from the Tan Hill Inn website - visit the (geographically) highest pub in england, scotland, ireland & wales, 1 day per country

Tour of the highest Pubs in England, Wales, Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Each day does not involve a great deal of mileage but my god we’ll go through some beautiful places. As follows:
Wednesday lunch: Sportsman’s Arms – North Wales
Wednesday afternoon, fast ferry to Ireland…..
Wednesday night: Johnnie Fox’s Pub (S.Ireland - south of Dublin) lots of B&B nearby
Thursday night: Ponderosa (N.Ireland) B&B farmhouse 5 minutes walk away
Friday morning (not too early) Ferry from Belfast to Scotland….
Friday night: Wanlockhead Inn, Lanarkshire, Scotland. B&B’s in the village.
Saturday morning ride down to Tan Hill Inn

I hate to put a spanner in the works Hat but Jonnie Fox's pub is not the hightest pub in Ireland, it is a pub on the top of Coom on the Cork, Kerry border near my house, we have pasted it before on M.T.M. Alvin
