The question everyone has been asking can now be answered --- well partly answered . What are the Mini Club Of Ireland doing for the BIG 3 day event in Ireland for 2007 ?
We are planning to make a full announcement at the Xmas Party on November 25th but several People have asked for dates to book Holidays etc and We have decided to announce the dates -
The event will start in Cork on May 24th 2007 and last for 3 Days ( and Nights ) this is just before the UK Bank holiday Weekend and UK entrants will have lots of time to return Home and recover before Work on the Tuesday .
Full details of entry and accommodation will be available after Nov 25th both here and on
MINI Club of Ireland and We can promise the best Mini fun in 2007 ,

€ 150 for 3 nights B&B in the Sneem 4 Star Hotel.
Event Summary Day 1:
We meet at Kevin O'Leary MINI in Silversprings, Cork City. From here,
you will receive your Event Pack, which includes some MINI goodies,
refreshments, a detailed Roadbook, an itinerary for the weekend ahead,
emergency phone numbers, and the opportunity to buy some limited
edition MTI clothing and merchandise to support our chosen Charity.
We leave the Dealership with a Police Escort, and take in the scenic
West Cork roads until we cross the County Bounds and enter the Kingdom
of Kerry. Co. Kerry boasts some of the most challenging roads in
Ireland, and once we show you what the MINI is like in it's natural
environment, we'll gracefully retire to the postcard-perfect village
of Sneem. The newly built Sneem Hotel is our world-class refuge for
the weekend, and they will be on hand to ensure every desire is
catered to.
The evening of Day 1 will be a relaxed social evening, based in the
town of Sneem, enjoying the local music, food, and drink.
Day 2:
This is going to be the high point of the weekend, a Treasure, and
Scavenger Hunt. Expect to spend the day travelling roads on, and off
maps, deciphering cryptic clues, staying one step ahead of your fellow
entrants, and gathering all the items you need to complete the
Scavenger Hunt. It's not for the faint of heart, and while our goal
for the weekend is to test your MINIs, on Day 2, we'll see if your
minds are up for it too!
After a quick refreshing break at the Sneem Hotel, we will be taking
you on a Mystery night. We won't be telling you where you're going,
or what you'll be doing, but we'll drop a few hints as the day flies
by. Expect a session of mammoth enjoyment, and enough memories to
fill a scrap book to show your friends for years to come.
Day 3:
Our last day of motoring in Co. Kerry will take in some of the most
scenic roads Ireland has to offer, you will be mesmerised by the
sights laid out before you, and be impressed by how easily your MINI
will demonstrate it's ability to tackle the toughest of roads. Day 3
will remind you that you're not just special, you're a MINI pilot.
The evening of Day 3 is our high point. Expect a wild party, with
great food, mighty craic, one of Ireland's best live rock bands,
raffles, auctions, spot prizes, and a finishers award for everyone who
completes the weekend's tour.
