DMR Christmas Run - Saturday 30th December

The last run on anyone's calendar. The Doncaster Mini Register is hosting a run to the coast on Saturday 30th December.
Meet point is Moto services on M18 (Junction 5) at 9.00am.
Run is approximatley 100 miles on some of the best twisty stuff Lincolnshire has to offer, ending up in Skegness at around 12.00 noon.
Lunch stop will be an hour, then we head up the coast road to Mablethorpe, ending up in Cleethorpes.
Weather permitting we will be visiting the UK's biggest seal sanctuary on the Lincolnshire coast.
We aim to end up in Cleethorpes at around 3.00pm. The idea is to end the run in daylight. The M180 is the quickest exit back home for everyone.

All welcome. Non club members are invited to make a small donation to club funds to help with expenses.
Run notes are provided on the day to everyone. I have done the recce today and it promises to be a good drive out. Some really great roads, perfect for the Mini.

Thanks to everyone who turned out to make this a really good day. The rain held off until late afternoon, which helped.
A great way to end 2006, and look forward to an even better 2007.

If this run ever happens again I'd be interested in coming along. My parents live in Mablethorpe and I was there on the 30th but I was unaware this run was taking place otherwise I would have joined you.

My sister's boyfriend mentioned seeing a large number of MINIs in Sutton on Sea so I assumed there must have been a run and I've just found this topic today.
