For those of you who have not already set off to wales, I have just had word from a relative in Abasoch (around 37miles from the start point) that the weather is great. Blue sky, really sunny

Im travelling down tonight, but as I said earlier, will be going straight to the cottage! So I will see you all Saturday morning!

Well... still at the cottage, but heading back our way soon.

I cant thank Stu and Pappi enough for yesterdays run, it really was a well planned day and I had a right laugh driving along those single track roads trying to have radio conversations

It was really nice to meet you all, couldn't have wished for a better bunch of people to spend the day with It was good to finally put faces to names too!

Looking forward to seeing your pics Jon! You must have been nackered last night after spending most of the run hanging out of Pobsey's window I have quite a few pics (more than I thought actually!) and will be uploading later tonight when I get home.

Hope you all had/are going to have a safe trip home!

Daniel (& Clair )

I've only just seen this thread now, I live in Colwyn Bay. I didn't see loads of MINIs on the A55 on the way home on saturday/sunday (if you look at my sig it's actually the view of the A55 by Conwy taken from the top of Penmaenbach, we fly over it to the beach below).

Anyway, hope all you guys enjoyed your trip through Snowdonia.

Just thought i would say thanks again for a great run defiantly a success so you should run it again next year I'm sure everyone will agree would love to know the routes we actually took as being stuck behind the wheel not that I'm complaining but you don't get time to get to see much too busy not trying not to go take a detour down the mountain side etc. but if its not too much trouble would love to know at least which passes we covered on the Saturday please !!!

Hope everyone made it home safely and see you all again soon

Kitten !

Just stuck on my sticker of yesterdays run, thanks Nylo they are great

Managed to get my pics uploaded! All have been reduced to half their original resolution/size. Plus, I have used photobucket and believe the images get scaled on upload down to 800x600? Not too sure but if anyone does want any of the full res images let me know as I still have them all

Quite happy with my pics actually, as a few of them were kind of rushed (especially the one where I had to scrable up the side of the mountain to take before that car caught us up ). Sadly though, no pics of us all on the move, as Clair wasn't brave enough to lean out of the window like Jon!! hehe.

Wildchild: Nylo managed to get on a couple of my pics, so you can see her hair as u asked

Just to add.. I havent put all the pics in the order they were taken, just whacked em' all in Enjoy.........

It was the perfect opportunity for a quick pose from Clair .......

Stu and Pappi... we spotted you .......

Great weekend all, thanks for coming and enjoyed your company. Those who could'nt make it missed a treat.
The Best Run in Wales all year .... Probably

Waiting for Jon's pics. I think the sideways GP features quite a lot

I think I'll do it again.

And I'll post up all the 'passes' so others can find them and enjoy on other occasions.

Just got back from Wales. I am totally knackered, after getting lost in fog on the Glyders. Welsh weather 1, Bob 0.
Really great MINI run for my first outing, it was all brilliant but the run around Bala was the best bit for me.
Great to meet you all and put some faces to names.

However, I had a surreal "Life on Mars" moment on Sunday morning. I went to fill up at the Shell station in Betws-y-Coed and while I was waiting for a pump, Nylo's voice emanated from the....radio? no the glovebox. What the..... Further investigation revealed a PMR still left switched on at channel 7. Sounds like it was a good run Sunday morning too? Hope you caught your ferry OK.

Thanks Stu, for a great run!!

Oh yes, I am fully aware what I missed, but what's a guy to do when his new car arrives at the dealers?

618 miles later...

Got home at about 9pm last night. Really great weekend, guys. Saturday's run was brilliant. Pace was good, roads very interesting, lovely scenery, and the odd nice MINI. It'd be impossible for me to pick out one moment, but Stu sitting at a 45 degree angle trying to get up that apex with no traction at all had to be up there

Lovely meal and great company on Saturday night. Judith, I haven't managed to pin down mum for the oriins of "Sir", but I haven't forgotten!

Daniel, great pics there, you took LOADS! Thought you said you had none!

I'll maybe get mine up later, was waaaaay too tired last night!

Thanks again to Stu and Pappi, and everyone else who made it such a good weekend, here's to the next one!

God, no idea what you heard, but we just went for coffee on Sunday, didn't have time for a proper run, after I went for a wee drive and got stuck behind a camper doing 29mph, followed by an ice cream van doing 23mph...
