We should also remember that there are more points to be lost on the special stages where driving skill / time accuracy is so important.

Not too fast not too slow and trying to watch the seconds tick by on the stop watch - one banana, 2 banana etc is more accurate and at least is audible.

Not sure if there will be!

A couple of freelance journalists said they might submit an article?

There should be an article in Esquire mag, early new year!

Will be really pigged off if there isn't anything in Modern MINI as I and a few others offered to do a bit for them. Would like to know really. One of us should submit something.

Best write up and pics so far has been Mini Magazine. Written by the same guys which makes you wonder why the Modern Mini one is so weak.

Write up is also in Esquire this month but not read it yet.

There's a write up on last years IJ in the latest edition of Mini Mag.
From the photo's though, you wouldn't think a new MINI had ever taken part!

There's a good picture of everyone taken outside Mumm.
Although I managed to stay out of it, a certain someone looks like she's acting the fool!

Had a look at the Esquire article too.

Well what a waste of time, effort and money on the part of the IJ organisers!

There is not a single photo and a very poor write up of the event!

They say all publicity is good publicity but given the amount of hospitality these two journalists were shown, I'd say the end result wasn't worth it for the IJ or the charities it supports!!

Mini Mag article is fairly good but no mention of new MINIS at all

However - who are all the dancers the MINI2 CROWD in all of their glory

And pride of place outside of MUMM is some more of the MINI2 Crowd

Bought Esquire last night and what a load of rubish - poor article pretending to be an original jobber, no photos, no theme, no real link to the IJ and all of the Charity work, now real reference to NCH and their valuable work. A total waste of time and money bringing along a journo and his wife for basically a jolly - I never felt the right impression from first meeting them at lunch in Monza when they arrived.

Moden MINI has some good photos but they should have published the one with all of the MINIS in it - write up is reasonable but way too short for to do the event justice.

I have never spent so much on magazines

In Italy
