That should sort out the problem.
We love our mini's classic and new and for us we couldn't think of a better way of celebrating our wedding. Certainly different!

We watched the programme too and it brought back some good memories of Turin last year.
I had a little chuckle to myself when the presenter said 'the Lingotto test track is not open to the public'.

Had a look at the Lingotto Hotel in Google Earth and it's a lot longer and narrower that I'd imagined it to be
It looks very impressive though!

You'll certainly be missed!
Ah well, at least you'll have your new R56 well run in for 2008.

Do you know when we're doing the likes of Lingotto or Monza if there's a break to swap drivers so the other person can have a go as well?

Right then question to all you seasoned jobbers. Sponsorship of entry fee, that old chestnut.
1. Did you approach one main sponsor for the whole amount, and offer the whole of your car?
2. Did you approach them one by one, or send out a load of letters and wait for responses?
3. Did you approach many and offer them the chance to sponsor a panel or some such thing?
4. Did you manage to cover the whole of the entry fee with sponsorship, I really hope so or this could go very wrong
Anyway entry form sent and fee paid in full. Waiting for team number and sponsors.

Hi Mate,
We got the entry fee sponsored by our mini dealer - but this is an arrangement between you and them and not directly linked to the IJ. Other sponsors we got by approaching local companies. Always goto them with the "whats in if for them" - have lots of idea's of how they can benefit from sponsoring you i.e local press coverage or special days at there place where you can bring the mini down all sponsored up. Also sell lots of IJ lottery tickets - we did a local show and a quiz at our local pub and raisied £300 in a day.
Just remember the £1500 is a target and that all the IJ ask you to do is raise as much as you can.
You'll have a great couple of weeks and it is the mini adventure of a lifetime.
Enjoy
Andy
