GP Group Display UK Show?

Just wanted to sound out folks to see if we could possibly get a large group of GP's together for a show this year. Was thinking possibly the Stafford show in July or the Sandon show in September.

So far the most ive seen together in the UK was three at Sandon last year - would be great if we could get 7 or 8 together on a stand.

Anyone interested?

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

Hi Jules

I'd be interested, definately cant make the Staffurd show in July as our Mini events/run calendar is already full for the whole summer.

Might be able to make Sandon show in Sept, any date yet?

Chris

Had my GP 0774 on show at stafford this weekend on the modern mini stand .
Was great to meet other gp owners, 2 others showing, and other gp owners visiting the show.
Will definately be showing again with as many other gps as possible all lined up in number order

Remember speaking to you! (Mine was in the main hall )

There was quite a bit of interest at Stafford, I have had a word with the event organisers and they liked the idea. I will get show dates published shortly so we can shortlist a date, and if we can pull things together I can get some banners & stuff organised for a stand.

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

Sorry folks, here we go, straight from the BMC website:-

BRITISH MINI DAY - Himley Hall 13th May 2007. This is one of the most popular outdoor Mini events in the calender. Which marks the start of the concours season, includes a full Premier Concourse, massive trade stands and autojumble with many Mini Clubs in attendance. A show for the enthusiast and not to be missed. Set in the grounds of a country home near Dudley in the West Midlands

BRITISH MINI DAY - Sandon Hall 2nd September 2007
A Prestigous Venue for our second British Mini Day of 2007 - SANDON HALL, Proved a very popular show in 2006.Since it's opening in 1994, Sandon Hall, conveniently located just 5 miles from Stafford has rapidly become one of the most exclusive venus. Situated in the heart of the country and surrounded by 400 acres of glorious parkland, Lord Harrowby's elegant home is the superb venue for the Grand Finals of the British Mini Club Premiership Concours event

Im still waiting for the Bingley Hall summertime show details to be announced. We are not sure if its replacing Avon park and the Showdown (now that MITP have decided to follow that format) or if both events will run.

I was thinking that the new Stafford show might be a good one to go for, but Sandon might be the better venue and as its towards the end of the year there are fewer events that might clash. What do you think?

EDIT: Should know whats happening with the Stafford Summertime show within the next 14 days, official announcement will be made on the BMC website. But there maybe an interesting display opportunity available for us at this show

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

I have to agree with you, that the Sandon show would be the better choice. Looking at the events calender there's not a lot going on in Sept at the mo.
