I thought you might like a sneak peek at the No. 1 car in the convoy! We've just had it liveried up and this MINI will now be out and about promoting the event.
I'm sure some of you will spot it on a motorway near you!
Have seen you about Preston a few times over the last few weeks - your reg plate made me do a total double take the first time I saw you! Great colour car!
Hi i got an email about this event today.
I'm a classic owner and have added a thread over on minifinity.com , so you should see a few more classics, i will hand some flyers out in Preston tomorrow.
If anyone wants to meet in Preston to convoy, maybe meet at Moor Park like the Blackpool run?
Can anyone recommend any good but inexpensive B&Bs with prices? I know this is Blackpool so there's no shortage of them, but some local recommendations wouldn't hurt.
There's a little Yellow/Black Cooper here which wants to be a record-breaker but I'm 120 miles away and depending on how late it finishes up it'd probably be easier to stay the night.
That's not a bad idea either. I've got the day off on the Thursday too, so it wouldn't really matter how late I get back. Looks like I'll be putting my name down then.
The car's got its service and M.O.T. two days before, so provided there are no problems/delays there I'll help make up the numbers.
