I bet it's looking good. With still well over a week to go Alison should hopefully be able to convert some of the 'definite maybes' . And with those only hearing about it for the first time from further publicity pushes it should take us past the 200 mark!

You've got to remember that not every classic owner dislikes the new mini, and vice-versa.

I've put a flyer up at The Mini Center in Preston, which is a garage catering for all shapes of mini

It will be good to meet up with other enthusists who love both old and new.

Wow, is the Mini Centre in Preston still going then! It must have been in business for 30 odd years, or more perhaps. It's 22 years since I lived in Preston and it had been around long before that.

Good luck to them and here's to many more years!

Shows that there's enough interest to make a business out of a specialist name. Take it that it caters for the 'new' MINI then? Wouldn't mind popping down sometime.

Anyway, hope the flyers generate some response. I've still got a bit of 'advertising to do at work also.

Yeah, it's still going, and yes it caters for both minis. It is now run by Terry (the son) and his sister. They are both going to come, one in a new Mini and one in a classic.

I'm a classic owner and have added a thread over on minifinity.com , so you should see a few more classics, i will hand some flyers out in Preston tomorrow.

If anyone wants to meet in Preston to convoy, maybe meet at Moor Park like the Blackpool run?

Cheers

Paul

Am sure I have seen somewhere - but not sure where! - something about the Manc/Bolton run picking us Prestonians up on a motorway roundabout somewhere along the way....

Well it's yet to be confirmed but we reckon we're just short of 200! And we've 9 days to go!

One final push is needed me thinks to make sure that if people can't make it on the day we are well covered with numbers!
