We're just getting people to register to begin with and then we will contact you with official times to turn up once we have final numbers.

We're just in talks with adjudicator from the Guiness World Records to be here on the night to oversee the event, that way we will know if we have made it in to the record books that night without the usual 2 -3 week wait!

The local press are booked for the evening, just waiting now to hear back from the radio and BBC. If anyone has any contacts in those departments - let me know!!

I am supposed to take delivery of my R56 from Woodmans during the last week of March...

Will try to move it to the 28th and see if Alison would be OK with it.

If so count me in!

Well we've only advertised the event on MINI2 so far - last night we sent out over 1500 postcards to our database and we're off flyering any MINIs we see on our travels so i'd expect the numbers to creep up over the next few days!

Press release was published in our local paper last night too.

If anyone would like the artwork for the flyer to post on to other MINI owners give me a shout

Aha - didn't realise you could do that being new to this n' all.

File attached as word doc - pdf was far too big to attach - but you get the gist!

Had word back from Alison. It all depends on my delivery date - but if the MINI arrives in time I'm on the list.

Just got mine throught the post today. Didn't really know what to make of it @ first, but after reading on here, I am definatley putting my name down. PS do they still make those big red noses to put on cars??
