Im contemplating joining in im from the North East and would love to join in but its gunna be a 300 mile round trip so i need some convincing really!

its a great event thats taking place but i need to think on it more than likely ill register within the next week!

Just had confirmation from Guinness World Records and both types of MINI are permitted to take part in the attempt.

So please do pass this on to anyone you think may like to join in!

I've also just had confirmation that a Guinness World Record Adjudicator will be present on the night so we'll have an instant decidion. If successful we'll be presented with a certificate there and then!

Lets get these numbers up!

Are any MINI2 ers also members of the British Mini Club (BMC)?

It seems this club caters equally (?) for 'classics' and 'Bee Ems' !

Perhaps we could get a mention on their site if anyone thinks it's a good idea and is up for the legwork/input of info!

I guess this should be on a North West forum or something but I'm not sure how to get it on.

I was wonderin what time people (esp from Manc) were setting off or aiming to arrive for this on th 28th??

Are people gonna meet up an travel down in convoy? I'm on a half day from work coz it's me birthday and can set off as soon as my Pipercross filter is in (you know you've got a good girlfriend when she buys birthday presents for your engine )

You don't have to put any names on here to contact them do you?

Besides, as long as it's not a trader, and you're not promoting them, then there's no problem with links to Mini/MINI club/group sites.
