Northern Ireland Mini Weekend: 15-17th June 2007 Antrim - MINI2

Ample room for camping/caravans, plenty of room for the Minis. Also we benefit from a lovely function room for the Saturday night with entertainment provided by the managament at Shanogue House.

There is also a restaurant and large BBQ facilities.

Dates are now confirmed : 15th 16th 17th June 2007

As per last year, Saturday will contain a Mini run following Tulip Route maps and each entrant shall leave within 5 Minutes of each other.

Saturday night entertainment will be disco/karaoke/singing.

Sunday is the usual Show and Shine starting at 11am, finishing by 4pm.

I can't stress enough as with previous years, NIMW is about socialising and all about the craic!

And, Yes there will be alcohol served throughout the weekend.

Always a good weekend. Last year was a bit low key but this year promises to be better then ever!

i wanted to do this last year, but as far as i remember there was something else on that weekend......

might use it as an excuse to get the tent out again

Dont think I could face that journey again for a while although the 7 mile straight does sound tempting

and I could always head back to Bourbon to meet that waitress

Plans are well advanced for this with the camping sorted in easy reach of the bar.

The Saturday run will be in two parts so you can do one half and return to base for food or whatever and then head out on the second part or whatever you feel like. Both halves are about 35 miles so wouldn't be too hard to do both in one shot - couple of hours as long as you don't get lost....

I'm reusing a wee tiny bit of the Lough Neagh route down by the shore but in the reverse direction from the way we did it in February and there's only a few miles of road with grass up the middle this time....

What's the concensus on this show at 7 mile Straight? Who is going? We going to have a good Mini2 turn out?
