Joining London to brighton 2007

Morning guys and girls

Just been looking into the London to brighton mini run next month. looks lik all the oficial places are gone, but it says you can just 'tag' along on the run.

Has anyone ever done this? what are actual runners reactions?

Thoughts?

Cheers, Cobby.

Hi Neil, I am going along on the L2B officialy with 17 other MINIs from Kent & East Sussex Mini Club.

I have been 5years running now, and although there are over 2000 official runners, there can be something like 1000-odd unofficials, so you will have no problems tagging along

I think the best thing to do is join a little down the road from crystal palace and the Minis/MINIs will let you in. There's normally a huge traffic jam once we leave the park anyway

If you see 18 MINIs emblazoned with KAES MINI CLUB stickers, give us a shout and we'll certainly let you in

Ah great to hear you're doing it to raise money, i like a bit of fundraising . I went last year in my MINI and before that was in my classic. I was very nervous after seeing comments made in previous years but it is much better now, and my MINI got some nice comments and waves during the day. We're all there for the love of one thing at the end of the day, I think the classic owners with a grudge have reduced a lot now. I own both so feel bad when I see MINI owners get harsh comments from classic owners

Anyways, you might want to check out our club site (not very local to you but you are welcome to sign up ) Kent And East Sussex Mini Club

All the plans for the L2B are on there

Thanks andy.

i have joined up at kaes mini club, same user name as over here just need to get one of your cool lookiong stickers now.....if only for the run

Ive sent an e-mail over to the L2B organisers, explaining that i am doing it to raise money to see if there are any more tickets available of any kind, or even if they could squeeze me in lol

Sounds like the run should be a god day out, see you on KAES,

Neil
