I'm sure I saw Step_7 taking a few photos? I didnt take my camera out of the car. Some lovely classics on show, and some not so nice, think BP would have liked the pink and white one!


Bit of a late one last night, and it rained yesterday so neither car was clean.

Got up late and sort of quickly washed the GP, as it was the cleaner of the two Mini's, sort of half thinking, I'll just go for a wee race down, and have a look around.

Anyway, came home with this totally unexpectedly, and a lovely teapot to match the mug I got last year

Well there was only 1 GP..........

There were 10 MINIs in total including 2 R56s, I'll post some pictures later on - only home and I'm knackered and somehow I'm sunburnt!

That's not actually too bad a turnout I would have made it, but we were read the riot act at football for no one turning up at training, plus I didn't think there was really anyone from m2 going, which is why I didn't put in an appearance. First time I've missed it in 3 or 4 years too

Washed the Coop this morning ,took it for a spin to get the water out of the seams and ended up with a nail in the driver side rear tyre. Gutted

You missed getting the teapot, the match of last years mug, next year I think we'll get a plate to add to the set.

Took the GP cos I damaged the aero kit again on friday. Not cosmetically, just pulled a plastic rivet off the bottom. Glad I took GP cos, that FAKE JCW R56 Cooper S would have won.

And think I proved my theory, that the cleaner a car the more likely you are to not win!

I managed completely to miss taking pictures of the Red Aerokitted R56 S - I was too busy sitting eating cake at that point I think! And I also missed the 2 Park Lane's that showed up later on. Surprisingly there were no standard R53 S's there at all.

Well the cake was for my wife's birthday so I just had to eat some - don't normally indulge you know.........

Probably a few less than last year but being on the NW200 weekend didn't help we reckon.

Lol, true actually were no R53 Cooper S's only one was the GP.

The red R56 (fake JCW btw) Was red n white with aero kit and the new JCW split rim 18's, and JCW badges on front and rear.

Would have brought my S up but didnt have time to clean it and the lower lip of aero bumper needs a little attention.

Dad was well interested in one classic that was for sale at the show, but we've no room.

the pink car looked brilliant..... i was expecting barbie to get out of it

and thank you..... the spots aren't fixed on properly yet that no more nails double sided tape came in very handy and the stripes got fitted on sunday morning....
