Very true...hes mooching around in his dirty tractor now....silly boy!!! I mean, swapping a MINI for an MG ZR aint exactly a good move is it!!! ha ....ha...

I'll be there to NOT go as fast as last year The "how to do the lakes run in under an hour" attempt was pretty crazy!

and that was including a pint and ice ly stop!

This year i'm compiling a list of compulsory stop or minor detours to see local scenic places!

So the run can still be done as quick, but also see extra special parts of the lakes and arrive back at the campsite at the same time at the others!

The easy one is 5 mins at the top of every pass!

Whinlatter Visitors centre

Ravenglass railway (fondly known as the Ratty)

Side of the lake at Wastwater where you shout and it echos round the valley

Trip down to Ennerdale - one of the nicest lakes yet unspoilt by tourists!

Sure I can think of a few more!

Also uncovered some cracking roads on the shap side of the M6 a few months ago, all single track but breathtaking scenery and driving! :-) Joys of the m6 being closed!
