![]() I'm Behind YOU !! | It was ment to be 2 nights , but this body aint built for the cold, and a big bed with TV was only in windermere, so i thought it was a nice gesture to let someone else use the tent . I believe they used the East wing . if i had not , Wiggy may not of won the special award. Which she so deserved, even for laughing at my jokes all weekend. It was great to see you all, and if your doing anyother events like this let me know. MIkey - did you get a new phone ? |

Offline | Think it's safe to say that there was a stunning display of minis and MINIS on display over the weekend. Big respect to all their owners from me. Below are some of my favourites. Most of my pics are campsite based as I was too busy driving to take any out on the road. ![]() Ok first batch of pics below. More to follow later. ![]() MODERN MINI - BEST COOPER NOMINEE - PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!!! |

![]() Making Noise!! | What Now that was a fast section to say the least! Thanks!! ![]() And a good one at that!! ![]() Gotta say Mikey was a top weekend, one which i shall be enrolling on again next year!! But then thats obvious really, thanks to all those that helped over the weekend, but special thanks to Mr Gibson and Ms Meeks for the use of pretty much all of their camping equipment and food!! What would have i done without you!! and to Math for letting me stay in the west wing for a couple of nights!! ha ha Had a really good time and laughed so much it hurt, along with the sun burn! The weekend was that good that even the accident on the way home has not dampened my spirits, no doubt johnmorgan has photos of it as he and hannah were involved too. Nothing serious but a women heading northbound on the M6 decided it would fun to skid sideways into the central reservation! Unfortunatly the debris from the impact hit both me and hannah's car, leaving me needing a new bonnet and windscreen and hannah with a large pair of scratches down the side of her car but like i said, were all ok, nothin major and refusing it to dampen the weekend! The police were dead nice too! Asking about our weekends and stuff but they did look at us funny when john started up the larini! You could tell they were thinking...mmm that sounds illegal! But they said nothing and one even waved goodbye as he passed me while i was doing 85mph! ha ha quality! Only in a MINI! ![]() Loving the pics so far too! The NW lot arent on most as we were about and 1hr ahead of everyone!! ![]() ![]() Alta Pulley - ''Special'' De-Cat Exhaust + Manifold - Eibach Springs - Spot Lamps ALTA Intake - JCW Spark Plugs - Play Mini Scoop - OZ Superleggeras |

| MINI2 Master | Yup, a brilliant weekend ... my 4th Lakes tour this one and I'll be back for the next. Mikey and the team never fail to do a fantastic job on making these runs possible. Thanks again Mikey for everything ![]() .... mind you, the Ennerdale arms DID prove a little elusive at Calder Bridge and then that bend round to the left was a bit of a shock as I went straight on .. Will.. thanks for having good enough brakes on your car bud ![]() Russ did you mean Rollercoaster ride on Sunday? .. both days were Rollercoaster ![]() |

| having fun or hungover... | Where local knowledge helped I spent first few years of my life living between Gosforth and Calderbridge and knew where we were going as soon as i seen Cold Fell! ![]() I was waving at Nat to turn but just thought i was doing as normal and thinking i was right! (in the end i was! )Rollercoaster on sat was special , map in hand local knowledge and an even madder driver than you (but i've yet to experience the passenger seat to pass full judgement ) at the wheel, on the way out to Kirby stephen all alone with Will at the wheel i was worried we'd end up in a field and not be found for days! ![]() Other ideas for future runs could do Corney Fell and Birker Moor as you said top roads! ![]() Night run here we come! ![]() |
