Glastonbury 2008 - MINI Cooper Forum

A few of us have been lamenting not being there this year so thought it would be nice to float the idea of us all going together next year.

Obviously we would all have to register and buy out own tickets but we then could have our own little MINI2 encampment at the festival.

If anyone is interested let me know. Before anyone asks the tickets this year were £135. Gates open on the Wednesday and you have to be off site by the following Tuesday. Obviously you will need a tent and some clothes etc - and maybe some spare dry clothes to be left out in the cars. I have taken cameras etc before and contrary to popular belief they can be very safe. There are several safe and FREE lock ups around the site that are manned 24 hours a day so I pick up my camera up in the morning and use it as much as I need, when I have had enough (even for just a few hours) I put it in the lock and have no worries

There is potential issue of ticket availablity, we would need a plan as they sold out in something like 10 minutes for this year, but you could get 4 per person, so it will be case of all of us ringing and getting the max allocation just in case some are not successful.

Now, the last time I went we hired a Bago for the weekend, it was £800, but slept 8 easily and had everything on board including a ladder to the roof which was cool as it was good weather.

Anyone else up for renting a Bago ?

Good point Martin, I'm up for the Bago as long as I have the top Bunk!!!
