I have been going to JCC meets for a good while and there have been soem good turnouts Croft last year was a good one as was brand but never more than 200 minis.
Mallory was still the best when Mini2 invaded the track.
On arrival, show your 2 for 1 ticket you downloaded from the MINI Challenge website at the admission gate, normal entry cost without the 2 for 1 deal is £12/head.
You will be directed to the MINI parking area. Follow the MINI signs.
Once parked make your way through the pedestrian tunnel to the MINI Challenge race centre near the tunnel exit in the paddock. All drivers and passengers must sign on and will be issued an arm band which will be checked on entry to the circuit. All drivers and passengers must be over 16 years old. Part of the documentation required for the record is a log of each car’s registration number, name and, contact phone number of the driver, you will be asked to complete this at signing on.
The parade will be one line of MINI’s headed by the MINI safety car. You will complete the first tour on the inside (right) of the circuit, then as directed, the parade will cross to the outside (left) of the circuit for the final tour. Do not change lines at any time. The parade will then be directed off the circuit to return to the parking area.
Be with your MINI ready to go by 12.30, it may take a little time to filter on to the track so please be patient. When leaving the circuit follow the signs back to the parking area.
A few of us will be leaving Stamford (South Lincs) at 7.00am and driving via Oakham and Melton Mowbray if anybody wants to meet up on the way. We will then be meeting a few more mini's at the donnington service's so we can all drive in together. We will be at the services at 8.00am to leave at 8.15 so we can get in before the first race starts
