They're saying the final count was 271.

Before we left we went back to the organisers to ask if we managed it and they said yes 279 minis, wonder where the bbc got their info from.

Me and Charger_Pete got interviewed while sitting in my car by the guy from BBC east mids, said it will be on the news around 8 ish, we were watching the Matrix at the time :P

So the official Guinness record is what now then? As last time it was checked it was the UK 269, not the unconfirmed US bid. Has that changed?

According to the organisers and the guy on the PA it was 273.

Yeah I know, a lot of people have been saying that on here since they did it in the US, but I've never seen anyone answer when asked if Guinness have confirmed that, as they didn't have a rep at the attempt and they had to send off to get it confirmed.

just looked on the guinness book of records websit and no mini record is listed at all
