| It could take place in the United States from the point of view there wouldn't be a conflict with MINI Takes The States, which is a bi-annual event that alternates with MINI United. I'd love the 50th anniversary to be hosted over here, but it just wouldn't be right. After all, this is primarily about the original Mini and there simply aren't enough of them in the US to warrant the event being hosted here. It would also be unfair on the UK/Euro Mini fans who deserve this event far more than we do. They are the ones who made the Mini such a huge success and so the party should be in their backyard, not ours. My money is on Silverstone or Donnington Park.   |
