Mendip MINIs 5th run of the year is confirmed and the route finalised. Thanks to Ben for sorting this one out!

Starting in Frome, we will twist and turn our way to Castle Combe via some great country roads and lovely villages.

There are a couple of pubs in Castle combe (link to one below) so a pub lunch looks good too. If you would like to stay for a lunch please advise how many in your party so we can pre-book.

Anyone is welcome to join us for what should be another fantastic run.

Meet at Merlin Theatre Car Park Frome 10.30am for 10.40am (not11am) start.
Approx 36 MIles & 1hr

Hi

I've got 3 more minis coming me and two others is this cool? well be coming from Bath. I'm heading for frome college car park yea on the bath road with postcode BA11 2HQ is that correct. also is that file you posted the tomtom itinery?

Great stuff chris, it will be great to have you guys along. The postcode you have is near but I would use BA11 2SA. Basically come in on the Bath Road and then left at the traffic lights followed by 1st left into rear college/theatre car park.

The notes are not Tom-Tom Based, still need to spend time working that one out!. The route notes are made to be easy to folow and the autoroute file for back-up. One of us is running the route again today for a final check so notes will be checked for mistakes.

Are any of you planning on staying for a bit of lunch? Let me know ASAP if yes as we will need to get you booked in if poss.

We are now having a slightly earlier leave time of 10.40am instead of 11am.Hope this is still ok with everyone as we were due to meet at 10.30am anyway. Pub booking restraints is problem for 11am start.

Route tested and a couple of changes needed to to road closure so new Notes attached. I will provide a copy for everyone before the run.
