We are planning a big Party in Cork on January 26th 2008 , its a sort of New year thing as We decided that People had enough to do pre Christmas and things will be less hectic by end of January . new format , all the usual faces , anyone interested keep an eye on here and on MINI Club of Ireland for more details , it will be based at the new and 'interesting' Cork international Airport Hotel and with Cork having direct connections with most of UK and indeed Europe with many airlines good fares should be available at this time , of course as usual We have negotiated an unbelievable rate for the Hotel . Believe Me when I say this will be a seriously fun Evening like nothing We have organised before , Alvin and I have been working on this with a few months and are now ready to go .even We are 'buzzed up ' by the plan .so watch for details and pencil in Jan 26th .

just cheking out air fares - £80 return from leeds or £40 from liverpool. liverpool means travelling out friday though & staying 2 nights

The website does the Hotel no justice , You should see the place in reality , its mental , bits of a Lufthansa Airbus inside , aviation theme throughout , designed by an Architect with vision and a free hand to do as He pleased and it shows . Alvin and i met the designer and spent 2 1/2 hours with Him and it was brilliant to see such passion and pride as has this Guy and it shows . The general manager is Aidan Fahy who will be known to anyone that stayed in Sneem in May . so get booking the flights for what I can assure you will be the 'maddest' thing we have done so far .

Believe Me when I say it will be Our best effort yet , We are really looking forward to it even though it will be a few months of hard work for us ,it will all be worth it when We see You guys having a good time in Cork . I will post Hotel booking details and unbelievable rates ( you know us ) in a Day or two so get booking those flights as decent fares are available at the moment and as news spreads of this event I don't think there will be room for all the aircraft arriving at Cork Airport on the Day full of Mad MINI Party goers . seriously though it will be worth the trip .
