You need to come in via Stovolds Hill, you can see it on the map above, drive down to the main gate at Dunsfold and there will be a member of the team to welcome you and direct you around Dunsfold Aerodrome.

FORMAT FOR THIS YEARS RUN :


Directions to Dunsfold Park will be published closer to the day.
Windscreen Pass and forms will be handed out as you enter Dunsfold Park ENTRY FEE
There is now an offical charge for access to the grounds, this will be £10 per car, again all monies raised will go to charity and will be handed over to Dunsfold management and given to their designated charity CHASE [url="http://www.chasecare.org.uk/"CHASE Hospice Care for Children].

[B]THE RUN[/B]

Unfortunately this year after some advice from the POLICE due to the numbers coming ,the run from Silent Pool to Dunsfold Park will be CANCELLED - THE MEET POINT WILL BE THE LONG LONG ROAD LEADING TO DUNSFOLD PARK. Feel free to convoy down to Dunsfold Park under your OWN steam but due to Numbers etc this can not be undertaken by myself this year.

[B][SIZE="2"]Outline of events for the day[/size][/b].


Just a little incite into what this event is for and why we are doing it, We are all gathered here for a common cause both for some fun but ultimately to raise as much money as we can for those who are maybe less fortunate than ourselves. Our charities this year are “HELP FOR HEROES” and “MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION" of which both are great causes. And I hope you all agree and you find it easy to dig deep and enjoy the day. Andy and myself have thought long and hard about how to entertain you during our short but fun packed day, and it has taken up a lot of our time and hopefully fingers crossed we are able to pull it off.

ENTRY TO THE DUNSFOLD WILL BE NO EARLIER THAN 09.30 AM

NUMBERS
The most important part of the day Andy and I have come up with the idea and used the card that was designed by MINISOOPERCOOPER to organise you and help us keep track of the number of cars on the day, as we have been limited. On your arrival you will have been met by Andy he will have taken your £10 entry fee and you will have received in return a card asking you to put your MINI2 user name and next to this will be a number between 001 and 250 this is your number for the day and will help in the organising of TRACK TIME, SPECIAL STAGES and BEST DRESSED MINI please see below for more details.

TRACK TIME
STARTS AT 10.30 UNTIL 14.00
This is a given seeing as we are a the TOPGEAR TEST TRACK and it is something that will for some be their first time round the track and for veterans nothing they haven’t done before, although this year there will be a slight change to the plan. Cars will be sorted into run slots of 20 MINI’s per group and then you will be led round the track, these are PACE CAR led and at no time are you to over take the MINI in front! You will be able to experience the Stigs lines and have plenty of time to get them right, although these will be limited to 3 laps per group, so this will take some considerable time given the amount of you here. You will obviously get the chance to take photos but this will be from a pre arrange point. Please refer to the map to see this and entry and exits points for the track.

SPECIAL STAGES
START FROM 10.30 UNTIL 14.00 PRIZES AT 15.00
These are something that Andy and myself were introduced to on the “Italian Job” some of you here I know will be going next year and have just come back from last year, and will know how much fun they can be. Ian 118 has kindly volunteered himself for this. These will be located behind the 747 and will be running most of the day. This is a competition event and there will be prizes for the winners, the entry is £1 per go and this money will be going to Charities. Details of the stages will be brief on arrival and again your number will be taken.

SPECIAL GUESTS
You will all have seen the list of special guest on the forums these have all been invite by us, so that they can show off there wears and also answer any questions you may have on tuning and upgrading your mini. As well as selling mini type stuff. I hope this is of some benefit to you all and all companies have either donate a vast sum of money or a prize to be raffled tickets sold next to the food stand. MINI PIRATE will be fixing decals to anyone who has pre ordered them via his web site and of course he will be selling stickers as well, he will also be there to discuss any future projects you may have for changing your MINI’s look.

BEST DRESSED MINI
THIS IS TO BE RUN ALLDAY AND THE CUT OFF FOR VOTES WILL BE 14.00 PRIZES AT 15.00
This is something that I think is not done enough as we all take time to make our MINI’s look good for there day out so this year I thought it would be great if we could come up with the idea of getting YOU those who attend to judge the BEST DRESSED, with a trophy for the winner and something they can defend next year!! ( sorry Andy think I have just volunteered us again) Jordan 210 has volunteered to take care of the voting for this and it fairly straight forward, you pick your MINI note the number they have been given and place it in the box on the T-shirt stand, or pester Jordan all day! The winner with some luck will be awarded the prize on the day.



T-SHIRT & FOOD STAND
OPEN FROM 11.00 UNTIL FINISHED
Food will be there, again being produced by the Army as well as Hot and cold drinks this is to be sold with all money going to the charities. All those that have pre ordered there T- shirts will be able to pick them up, and those who may not have ordered them can buy one but BE AWARE VERY LIMITED STOCK!
