Looks like I'm going to have to pull out of this one guys.
The Cooper's gearbox started to feel strange this evening. Being a Midland box (the first one on the car too) I don't want to risk it so close to trade-in on the Cooper S. I may be paranoid over nothing but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Pat, I'll donate the costs for whatever fuel I would have used on top of my planned donation

Would depend who is passing by Nottingham and who would be able to get me back there on Sunday evening.
More likely that I'll just skip this run. There will be plenty more in the new car.

Hence the reason I was asking Spuudd what his plans were.

its a sequence of events that may or may not occur, & may not in fact be sequenced.
