Offline | I didn't read this properly, but it looks like its generally in the right area... edit - if you go in and pester the jobcentre as well I bet they'd point you in the right direction. Anything to stop someone from registering unemployed usually as far as they're concerned |

Offline | Also if you go self employed then you will need an accountant to do your books. And if you get a half decent one you can get your VAT back on your tools and van. Check with an accountant first tho as i think it also depends on ya company status. HM Revenue & Customs: Frequently Asked Questions: General Cheap as chips! - bet ya didnt know that! ![]() |

Offline | you can always do the accounting yourself...cheaper still! and the vat thing i think its the same for anybody self employed, at the end of each year you have to fill in a vat returns form for everything youve bought with your business account then you get a nice cheque back or something like that |

Offline | what a day Firstly I pay good money to LSUK for them to do a crappy job installing a denison bluetooth handsfree whatjamacallit. They bodge the job, scratch the posts going down from the dash, and nearly break the head unit itself by not putting it back properly. Last thing I said to the bloke was for them to phone me if they have a problem getting at the head unit out as its tricky! Looks like they've gone at the posts with a screwdriver to move them out the way to start with. They crammed the unit back onto the wiring in there. That caused an earthing issue I think and the HU kept going off every 2 mins. Anyway, I have to spend my dinner hour putting it right. While in the car an asbestos tile blows off the roof at work and smacks the ns rear quarter panel and B post covering glass, scratching them both. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() oh aye, and they managed disconnect the cigarette lighter from underneath and its a nightmare to reconnect. I gave up there though |

Offline | Sounds like you've had 1 of them days! Remind me never to go with that company to get any work down to the car! On a brighter note, I got my car washed....sorry, serviced today at silver link, cleaned it up nice they did! Sorry, sorted all my issues and fixed my body kit that was hanging off and they also re-aligned the body kit under the bonnet so the gap isn't as wide as the tyne! Getting it lowered tomorrow by Steve at Robert shaw racing so will post before and after picts! If any 1 fancys coming down for a natter from 1pm your welcome to do so! |

Offline | Was thinking about a run out on Saturday 2nd if anyone is interested? Probs meet at Washington services around 12? And head towards Kilhope via Stanley/Lanchester/Stanhope? Any thoughts/opinions/abuse always welcome Andy - how's the newly slammed suspension going? Can you count all your teeth on one hand yet? |
