| First post is updated again guys, with a few more details of the Sunday run - thanks JP ![]() JP has also made a few suggestions for a meal on the Saturday night - could you have a think about this and let me know your thoughts, thank youuuu! ![]() From JP: 1: :: THE EXCHANGE Restaurant & Wine Bar :: This is one of the best resturants in the city, and is within touching distance of the hotel The food is great, modern with all the usual classics, most of the grub starts from £10 main course and offers a very wide varity. 2: Timber Quay Restaurant in Derry | Restaurants in Derry City | Derry Restaurants Very similar to the exhange, in fact it's the ex manager of the exchange who owns this, same menu type and prices are much the same. Although a bit further out of town it's a nice walk along the river and is only 5-10 min walk from the Hotel, again normally no bookings but i can look into this 3: Flaming Jacks (No Website) This is more a stakehouse type of place with a modern menu, not a place I have eaten in myself but I have heard good & bad reports, again similar prices as above and within touching distance of the hotel 4: Mandarin Palace Derry, On The Waterfront - Chinese Cuisine on the banks of the River Foyle, Londonderry The citys most famous chinese, always busy and have a very oriential decor, the food is very good and is always v busy, again booking woud need to be checked 5: Welcome to Fitzroys Restaurnt Another wine bar style place, I would eat in here for lunch quite often and I have never been dissapointed, booking shouldnt be a problem here and prices are much the same. A 10min dander from the hotel If we can get a booking I would have to reccommend the Exhange, but I'll go with the flow. It's a very lively place and would offer something for everyone. It's very very close to the hotel and once your finished the grub you are bang in the middle of town for the pubs |
