Whew - not too early then. NeuroBeaker - Proud owner of Zeus (a 'modestly modified' 2004 MINI ONE). Helpful Links: [1st Gen. Power Steering Pump (PSP) Failure Guide] [1st Gen. PSP Repair] [Thread Titles] [Adverts Fix] |

| How far is the run in total? Is it a case of bring your own dinner! Anyway, I assume usual mini2 rules apply - no speeding, keep your distance etc. Its important people remember these - the police are incredibly hot around these parts and they are everywhere - in unmarked cars. Lets face it 20+ minis are going to attract a fair bit of attention and I want to keep my license! I don't know whether you want to pass this on but there is a beer factory (black sheep) situated around Masham, so some members may want to bring some money to visit and buy some! NO DRINKING AND DRIVING THOUGH!!! |

| So I take it that there was no further action ! Silly women - I'd rather have 20 minis at 30mph than 5 corsas (or equiv) at 40mph .Sorry to ask again, do you bring your own dinner and how many miles is the route? |
| ||||
| Ah that will be because of the hidden clause that lurks deep in the Road Traffic Act stating: "Thou shalt not drive too many cars of the same type past an old woman in a town" ![]() If that woman gets burgled or attacked I hope she finds that the Police are going to be busy out hunting down marauding packs of law-abiding MINI drivers rather than helping her. |

| From memory the run is around 100 miles, although we still have to do a final recce. You can bring your own lunch or buy some at the lunch stop. Oh yes all drivers must obey the highway code and adhere to speed limits, particularly through villages. The run finishes at Brymor Ice Cream near Masham so if anyone wanted to visit the Black Sheep Brewery it's only a few miles away ![]() Kirby Stephen is where we're stopping for lunch ![]() |
