Well, I'll have a passenger seat going spare, if you'd like a closer view of those Yorkshire hedges... If you're really quick, you might be able to pick berries from them as we skid past.

thanks NB ... i'm sure I'll be spreading my presence around quite a bit

I'll bring a stew pot for the veggies. so they're not contaminated by meat.

I have a distant memory of being behind you last year just before Sunday's lunch stop and seeing a close encounter with a hedge - going up some steep bends in the wet - and something about a directional tyre being on the wrong way? (Or was that someone else entirely???)

My memory isn't what it used to be - then again I can't remember how good my memory was...!!!!

Oh, nope, that wasn't me - I'm in an Indi Blue ONE. The directional tyre on the wrong way was on a Chilli Red MCS with a Union Jack roof.

Although, on the Sunday part of the run, I did struggle with a very steep incline on one bit... I ended up driving too slowly up it (traffic was backing up a bit), it was a little bit damp, and the Pirelli P3000E tyres were absolutely rubbish for grip. I was trying very hard not to spin the tyres whilst getting up, because every time I did, I stayed exactly in the same spot.... very tricky stuff!

No such worries this year with the Kumho ECSTA SPTs on the car (thanks for the recommendation Brum)!

Well things are looking positive for not working the run weekend. Not 100% confirmed but looks like should be able to make an appearance.

The question will be, if the weathers nice, which Mini to bring

Hmm... there seems to be very little accommodation left in Harrogate this weekend.

Kind of annoyed that I haven't booked mine yet.
