hi,

i went on a novice track day at oulton park this month and had a great day!

since, i have been thinking of organising a MINI track day for some time in the summer, possibly at oulton park

please post if you are interested

possible dates and other details will be posted when known, but just checking interest at the moment, it would be sometime in july or august i think

*this event is listed as sessioned (20mins per hour driving time), however the track day i went to was originally sessioned, but as there weren't many cars it was changed to open pit lane

all days are 105db noise limit

please post up which of these dates you are available for, and hopefully we can all agree on a date, any suggestions are welcome of course, pm me

i think i will book onto the 2nd july novice day, as i am a novice and half a day is only £99, is anybody else interested in this date?

me and my father have booked on the novice day (2nd july), afternoon, because of the low price, if anybody else wants to do the same, please do
i can't make the 30th july, so that leaves 2 dates which MarkXR can do which are:

Vickys been hogging the laptop so not been on MINI2 for a good 48 hours...

...got some quality time in with the PS3 in the mean time

Had a read and currently saving up for some coilovers, then mani and head+cam, so all money is going on oimprving the car ready for it being a track monster. Then I'll start to track it. So until house is sorted (trying to get one sorted lol) no spare cash for likes of this

Will keep subscribed to the thread though for future ones

2nd PM is very tempting ... gona wait 'til i get back from taiwan on June 26th, check weather, work situ & book if all's good

aml - your Dad sharing the driving in the MINI ? do u have a spare helmet if I can persuade my gf to pax ?

will also need to find cheapest place to get a CG lock ...
