Offline | Well I've been holding off on the "thank you to the organisers" post until my photos had been edited, but due to a technical problem this may not be for a few days yet. Anyway. As the others have said thanks Mikey for organising such a awesome weekend once again. Thanks to Colin K, Tim, Paul and everyone else that helped the whole thing run smoothly. And of course thanks to all the MINI and classic owners that make this event such fantastic fun. As usual the roads were brilliant, the splashes fun, and the views awesome. It just has to be the ideal scenario for a MINI run, and the flawless organisation just tops it off. Only regret from the weekend; Not getting a chance to browse the stunning collection of Hot Rods camping in the next field. Oh and a final thanks to the organisers for voting my car Best Presented New MINI ![]() Pics to follow over the next day or so. ![]() |

![]() Mini's in Blackpool Rock | How lucky were we then One day later, and the north west suffers a 30minute downpour. Just like last year, Mikey turns out a brilliant weekend, to be followed by what seems to be Monsoon season. Brilliant timing or what? Last edited by Stevemac : Jun 17th, 2008 at 04:25 PM. |

| MINI2 Master | I echo what everyone else has said. The run was, like always absolutely fantastic. Every year it is brilliant and it's not just the planning, dedication and the roads that make it, it's the people too. Top quality people in top quality cars and a top quality run ![]() I have some photo's. Difficult to take when driving but I got a few during brief stops I''ll get them uploaded later tonight and linked here. So, thanks to Mikey, ColinK, and everyone else (can't remember your names) who was involved in the organisation of a fantastic weekend. Also (damn this is like the Oscars ), I'd like to say a big thanks to Mathmos Man for letting me stay in the West Wing of his Mansion. Was VERY much appreciated. ![]() |

![]() Laa diddly daa | Had a really good weekend - despite being cold and tired all the time! Thanks to everyone that organised the whole weekend. I've never made it to the treasure hunt before and that was really good (plus a brilliant excuse for going shopping ), although I managed to end up with Colink eating my LAKES TOUR sweets and Graham's daughter nabbing the Tom Thumb Pips too! Go figure! Will definitely be coming again next year, but will be bringing a stash of pro-plus and some ski-ing clothes for warmth I think lol!![]() |
