The following event is planned for Saturday 19 Oct 2002 (afternoon)

A convoy from Hinckley Hanover to Mallory Park via Market Bosworth and surrounding villages, to be at Mallory in time for setting up the tents and the BBQ.

Please post here if you are in for the run.

I shall skip the visit to Donnington and the drive around the area as I would probably be running around sorting out the last minute jobs for the BBQ in the morning

I shall join you on A447 (time and location, please) to form a convoy into Mallory Park if that is OK with you

I am not camping or staying at Hanover as I only live 20 minutes away from the circuit

When you turn up at the Hanover for the Mallory Park Warm Up Run tell the security man that your are with MINI2.COM and he will direct you round to the helipad where we will meet.
Please be there between 2:30 and 2:45.

(Minty - it may be advisable to remove your target for that day

Can you post a route tip thing as we are trying to decide which one to go with, the museum or the run, although I got to say, the run sounds fun and will provide ample footage for a home movie or two!

The route will start from the Hanover then onto a Diving Centre called Stoney Cove. From here we will drive through Burbage Common. We will then join the A47 for a short distance leading onto the country lanes. The next stop will be at the battle of Bosworth field. (Nice photo shoot if the sun is out!). We will then continue to head north through the county lanes heading onto the A447 where we will head south towards Mallory Park.
This is just a summary for s_and_m

Full instructions will be issued on the day.
If it's to short, then we can do another 5 laps

Let's see who else is coming round M25 then up the M1, should be able to figure a meeting place or two.
