Yes we went to Blackpool - what a great day out it was too, although it has to be said WET!!

I can imagine the sight of 60 or so MINIs driving in convoy both along the motorway going and along Blackpool promenade must have been something else!!

We took some piccies and I'll post a few when I get chance.

Hi, im new to Mini 2, I went to Blackpool on Sat, had a fantastic day despite the weather, I took plenty of pics and a bit of video footage. I was in the black cooper with white roof and 17" s spokes, sorry Razor for driving down the inside of you on the promenade but I couldnt bare to be split up from the pack!! I will post some pics when I have time.

Firstly welcome to MINI2 as well Nick.

No bother 'bout the above - I think we all did something along similar lines at one stage or another during the hour and a half it took to get along the promenade!!

At least there were some other car drivers who were trying to stop others splitting us all up - there was a chap in a white van waving all the MINIs through, but whenever another type of car tried to get past he pulled out so they couldn't - nice one!!

Great stuff Nick. What was the event in aid of and whop organised it? Seems it wasn't a MINI2 thing, but maybe should have been a tie up

The event was organised by Lister Park Mini, the event cost £25 per car to enter which was paid directly to Bradford Cancer Appeal, apparently almost £2000 was raised.
