North West Mini Meet!

Hello all you northerners!!!!

This forum used to be full of northern Mini meets and now there isn't one!

I think its about time we had another before xmas.

So some on peeps lets get something organised as last one fell through to unfortunate circumstances

But we can make up for it!

So what do people fancy doing? Being traditional with the trafford centre meal thingy, or something differant. Write your answers on a postcard and stick it below!

Looked like the badges they fit to MG's. I'm in for a meet too. Have been saying I'll come to one for ages but never have so I'll try and reform my ways.

I'll be in for a North West meet too.

It is indeed an MG badge. Apparently they'll let you have one if you go into an MG Rover dealer and ask them to order one for you. Dunno how much for, but not much.

Anyone else from anywhere in the Lancaster area? I know there are quite a few MINI owners round here, but they don't seem to be on MINI2.

The Badges are from MG and come in 2 sizes.

Small size on my indicator grills (from the back of the Z range and MGF) is priced at £10.00 each from the MG Dealer (Monsta got mine For £5.00 each)

Large Size on my boot (from the front wings of the MGTF) is priced at £17.00 from the MG dealer

Considering the Mini bonnet and boot badges only cost £10 they're expensive!

As for the meet good to see somenew faces but where are the rest. Will have to do some PMing

Anyway newbies give us some suggestions unless the Trafford Centre Meal thing and Dodgems is favorite?

Chris

I also do a rather bad scouse accent (harry enfield stlye) *hangs head in shame.

Usually the Mini meets have been at the trafford centre Manchester (usually cos its central). Don't worry its not to close to Old trafford

We have sometimes met at Middlebrook in Bolton to, but that is right next to the Reebok stadium

Like I said if anyone has any suggestions.

What we normally do is go to the trafford centre and have a good nosh up on a saturday at the Bar Excess or is is it excess Bar, anyway good nosh, like TGI Fridays.

Other suggestions please, will get in toch with the regulars to.

Hardtimes: Nah it more of the "You sayin I got no t*ts or wot!"

As for venue lets see who's interested then we can see where thr most central point is and where people know. Spoke to skinny one of the regulars who says he can't come as working until he's goes onholiday, and the other regular I have the number off hasn't replied. Will try get in touch with the rest this weekend.
