Help the thread is lost!

Linda the thread seems to have vanished! It was there earlier today...
Anyway, just to reconfirm, myself and co-driver will be there and would like the eats as well.

Are you going to PM the word document with the details of the route out to everyone, or are you printing copies out for everyone? I was not clear on that point.

BTW I have updated my avatar to reflect the car I am driving! The old avatar was a picture of my brother's Italian Job Classic Mini Cooper.

It appears that the thread has been deleted somehow. I'm sure it will be restored in due course.

Are you planning on going on this Sunday's run yourself?

Smile

Thread seems to be gone !!!!!
I was just checking to see if those of us from further up the East Coast were going to meet at KFC/McD's at Camperdown, Dundee on Sunday??
Alan suggested 9am as a meeting time, but I think 10am is better. It would give us an hour to get through to the meeting point...and I have been told by a very reliable source(my hubby so I have to say that !!!!) that it should take us about 45mins drive, so that would give us a little breathing space.
I therefore plan to be at KFC for 9.45am, so hope to see some others there too.

Till then
Annette
p.s. hope you all have a very merry christmas xxx

45 mins to Edinburgh, hmm, ah well, i don't know for sure but i need to be at the ferrytoll for 10.45, i hope your hubby is correct, there are some roadworks etc.

Lucky i copied Willie M's route and how to get there:-
Okay folks, here's the details for next Sunday's Festive Run.

All MINI’s, drivers, co-drivers and guests should aim to congregate at the ‘Ferrytoll Park & Ride’ car park between 10.30 am – 10.55am. We are looking to leave at 11am sharp.

Location The ‘Ferrytoll Park & Ride’ is situated on the North side of the Forth Road Bridge, just off the A90 at the West side of Inverkeithing.

Travelling from the North: M90 Southbound heading for Forth Road Bridge. Don’t come off at Junction 1, keep going for another mile. Take the slip road signposted for N. Queensferry, Forth Bridges, Deep Sea World, B981. Ferrytoll Park & Ride is on your left, at the bottom of the sliproad.

Travelling from the South: Cross Forth Road Bridge and exit at 1st junction, signposted for Rosyth, Europarc, Inverkeithing, N. Queensferry, B981. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted for Ferrytoll Park & Ride, Inverkeithing. Ferrytoll Park & Ride is on your left at next roundabout.

Scheduled stops
There will be 5 stops along the way to allow cars to regroup, photo opportunities, toilets and of course the Food Stop at the Gartwhinzean Hotel.
1. Kirkcaldy Esplanade
2. Anstruther
3. Scottish Deer Centre (2 miles West of Cupar)
4. Gartwhinzean Hotel, Powmill.
5. The Butterchurn, Kelty, next to M90

Map + Driving Instructions
Each car will be given a copy of the route map (with stops highlighted) and some 'directional notes' for us mere mortals without Sat-Nav.
There will also be 3 mobile phone numbers you can contact should you get lost or fall into the sea somewhere along the Fife coast

Whew, the Chiltern Run was also lost, gremlins are at work.

Good work everyone !!

Like clever Alan, my husband had saved a copy of the latest list and meeting times etc. We will start a new thread tomorrow with these details.

3GGG - everyone will get a copy of the route etc. on the day.

By the way Alan, I was away seeing my 'Daisy' come off the transporter today and I haven't stopped smiling all day

Saw Willie's too and WHAT a car, I really was blown away with it. It's IB/IB body kit but has silver viper stripes and it looks amazing.

Hope to have them both there on Sunday
