Well ......

As a MINI novice I didn't know what to expect from you guys!

Overall though you came across as folk who want a bit of fun and who have an appreciation for things mini and to be honest I didn't feel out of place as a mini owner.

So on the next run I will bring my mini to show the cooper's how to really take a bend

Wullie Linda thanks for the day out and the MINI2 sticker is on my mini cooper!

PS quick advert www.miniclan.com for details of mini/MINI runs and events!!!

PPS I will be changing my log in name to miinyd, as I want to keep waxoyl Fan club for the classic mini forums

I've posted a wee quicktime movie (2.5Mb) of the day. I'd advise downloading it onto your PCs and drag out the window size. Let me know if you'd prefer to see a larger version.

Monsta,

I tried the link to the vid, but it was only 468 bytes.....and came up with a plug in error - is your link correct??

http://home.clara.net/c.mackintosh/

In fact - looking at the source code on that page, it looks like the page reference to the .mov video file is referring to your original hard drive location and not the location of the mov file on the clara.net server....???

I've found it! Great editing!

Here it is...

That's the link sorted. Don't know what was wrong as it should have just loaded the default html page in that directory, ie. index.html. Anyway here it is again...

Talking Thanks to All

Hi Folks

Just to say thanks for a brilliant day. Mo the vid is brilliant. Next time I may get a loan of my friends camera and mechanism for mounting on the windscreen, just need to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. As such will keep away from Brian given his magnetic personality for the wrong type of people !!

John: Really enjoyed the run to the Deer Farm, despite being rationed to one stage it was the most fun. MCS1, I will def. work on Knockhill.

Cheers to all the organisers.

Final word is that if anyone else wants an IPaq for a Sat Nav system give me a call as I have a spare one at work having upgraded mine.

Hope to see you all again soon. Enjoy the New Year.

Talking Willie got his COOPER.....

Hi Folks,
Willie got his Cooper today and for all those still subscribed to this thread I thought you might like to see it. He'll probably put more pics up tomorrow but I've beat him to it with this one as he's still outside, last I saw he was on step ladders

Linda.

They look quite cute Linda, with their wheels turned in to each other.

Sure those viper stripes are on straight?
